After some discussion, the party realizes the effects of the goat-man's music, and begin to wonder what the strange being was doing here.
Arphaxad: I wonder if that is the answer to the riddle.
Arphaxad: That goat man was seeking his son.
Sonadora nods.
Arphaxad: First off, we need to find out if anyone here really has been kidnapping that creature's child.
Sonadora: That would make sense, in regards to what type of man, but what has evil done?
You stand among the chaos that remains after the defeat of the horned goat-man. People all around begin to shake out of the goat-man's musical charm, and slowly some semblance of order is imposed. As the noise quiets down to a buzz of talk and questions, you hear a loud crash as something falls hard to the floor inside a nearby hut.
Arphaxad: What was that?
Arphaxad runs towards the hut.
Sonadora follows a bit slower, glancing around at the confusion.
Arphaxad looks inside the hut for the source of the noise, cautiously holding his staff.
Inside the hut you see a man standing among several fallen - he's not wielding a weapon, and the people in the hut all look to be knocked out, not dead.
The man dusts off his hands.
Arphaxad: What is going on here?!?
The man: Just some bad luck for these guys.
Geyer follows along cautiously, keeping an eye on the hunters surrounding them.
Sonadora mutters, "Uh huh..."
The man: Whatever music that guy outside was playing, it got them acting kinda weird.
Sonadora glances around suspiciously.
The man: So, I handled the situation.
The man: Now...
Geyer: Aye, strange songs from that one's pipes.
The man focuses his gaze on the four of you.
Arphaxad: Who are you then?
The man: Who the hell are you three, and what was going on out there, first?
Arphaxad: We are from the local village coming to find the reason of all the strange goings on around here, and as of yet, we do not know if you can be trusted, so please explain your presence here.
An average man at first glance, the man's hard stare and the scars that line his face give him an air of experience and authority. Dark red hair lies unkempt and provides an odd contrast to his dark complexion. He wears mismatched armor and has apparently left several days worth of stubble along his jaw.
The man: My... presence here? At MY camp?
The man takes a step closer to Arphaxad and points at him suddenly.
The man: What are YOU doing here? And why should *I* trust *YOU*?
Sonadora: We did just stop the weird goat man.
Arphaxad: There is no reason that you should, as of yet, but it seems your people in your camp were in a bad spot until we showed up.
The man reaches down to a flask at his hip, uncaps it and takes a quick swig.
The man grunts.
The man: I guess so.
The man: Though, it's rather convenient you showed up right after it did.
The man: If you catch my drift.
Arphaxad: Well, we can discuss the details later, let's figure out what exactly is going on.
Arphaxad: Do you know that man who attacked your camp?
The man: Man? That weren't no man. Humans are men. That was a thing.
Sonadora: Hm.
The man: And no, I'd never met that thing before.
Sonadora: It ran this way. Where'd it go?
The man mutters under his breath as he glances down at Sonadora.
The man: I was in here knocking out these guys. I wasn't outside, so I didn't see it.
Sonadora frowns and squints at the man suspiciously.
Arphaxad: Well, has there been anything strange going on around here lately?
Sonadora mutters something about convenience.
Geyer: Aye. Look, we mighta gotten off on the wrong foot here.
The man: Well, there was this one time when a goat thing came and attacked, and then these three humans with two pets came in and fought it off... and then they came in and challenged me, like *I* somehow didn't belong.
The man: But other than that, no, there haven't been any strange going ons.
Arphaxad chuckles
Sonadora glares at the man.
The man: Bluff [1d20+XX = XX]
Arphaxad: Perhaps I'll let Geyer talk to this one, they seem about on each other's level.
Players: Sense Motive [1d20 = 16]
Arphaxad walks off, staying within hearing distance and trying to find any clues as to what's going on.
Arphaxad: Listen [1d20+1=19]
GM: (Arphaxad) You hear lots of questions and some very anxious people - women, children, and men - but no information regarding the goat man, his son, or Sundown.
Geyer: Haha, right, we understand that. No hard feelings.
GM: Sense Motive: Everyone gets the feeling he may be leaving some things out when he says there haven't been any strange things happening.
Geyer: And ignore the wizard, he's...a bit pushy sometimes.
Geyer: Look, I don't know any more 'an you what that goat thing wanted here.
Geyer: Diplomacy [1d20+8 = 12]
The man ignores Sonadora's continued glare.
Sonadora: Vida and I are going to look for that goat-man's trail.
Geyer: Aye. Good luck with that, lass.
Sonadora: Survival [1d20+12 = 28]
Sonadora: Can you smell anything, Vida?
GM: (Sonadora) Despite your best efforts, the goat-man appears to have disappeared into the forest.
The man gives Geyer a once over from head to toe.
The man: Hmph. Military man, eh?
The man takes a swig from his hip flask again.
Geyer: Not exactly. But the closest thing round these parts, I'd wager.
The man: Hmm, maybe you are, maybe you aren't.
Geyer: Well, sir, I am Geyer. Squire in service ta the Coin, and acting Marshal of the village o' Sundown.
Geyer: Makes me close enough to the law round here, way I see it.
The man gives a small laugh.
The man: The law in Sundown, maybe. Your authority doesn't extend out here.
Geyer: Aye.
The man nods.
Geyer: But in investingating a crime in the village, the trail led here.
Geyer: I ain't accusing you or your folk.
The man: I'm Russel Firesteel. I am in charge here at the Pack.
Geyer: Just want ta find out some more information.
Geyer: Well met, Firesteel.
Russel Firesteel: So, what kinda "crime" are you investigating?
Russel Firesteel walks out of the hut and begins to look around the camp, assuming you'll follow.
Geyer: One of your folk was in town, drinking at the tavern. Something happened ta him. Turned into some kind of beast-man. Attacked civilians, messed the place up pretty good.
Geyer: He ain't the only one. We've seen some animals turned right strange also.
Arphaxad walks back towards Geyer and the man.
Arphaxad: Ok, listen, I am sorry for being so rough when I first spoke with you, but there is some strange things going on and its hard to find those we can trust.
Arphaxad: Any help or information you can offer us would be very much appreciated.
Sonadora sneaks into the hut to look around once Russel gets far enough out of the way.
Sonadora: Move silently [1d20+5 = 6]
Sonadora: Hide [1d12+7 = 15]
Russel Firesteel: Listen [1d20+XX = XX]
Russel Firesteel: Spot [1d20+XX = XX]
Russel Firesteel glances back and forth between Geyer and Arphaxad.
Russel Firesteel then tilts his head to the side as though listening for something, and turns back to the hut.
Russel Firesteel: Get out of there NOW you filthy thief.
Sonadora jumps.
Sonadora: I ain't a thief!
Russel Firesteel ignores Sonadora.
Russel Firesteel: Hard to find people to trust indeed...
Sonadora folds her arms and glares at Russel.
Arphaxad: Sir, we just helped save your camp here, surely that means something to you!
Sonadora does a quick visual search of the building while taking her time to exit the hut.
Sonadora: Spot [1d20+8 = 27]
GM: (Sonadora) Nothing strikes you as out of the ordinary - the men on the floor were apparently playing cards before being caught by the enchantment, and they're all knocked out on the floor.
Russel Firesteel: It means you injured several of my men after conveniently showing up and claiming to be from a town of humans and lesser folk, neither of who's to be trusted.
Geyer: Aye. But that were the fault of the goat's pipes, and our cleric is healing them up as we speak.
Geyer: So I'd hope ye wouldn't hold that against us too much.
Russel Firesteel: As your pet person sneaks around our camp, right?
Arphaxad: Diplomacy [1d20+3 = 17]
Arphaxad: Surely we can discuss this as civilized people
Geyer: She's one of the wild folk. Don't take too kindly ta civilized notions like property.
Arphaxad: Sonadora, come here please. Let us respect these people and the way they like things.
Geyer: Way I hear it, your lot has some trouble in regards ta those concepts on occasion, too.
Sonadora: I am not a pet!
Sonadora goes to the group anyways, but keeps her distance from the man.
Russel Firesteel folds his arm and glares at Arphaxad and Geyer.
Russel Firesteel: This isn't the first time this's happened.
Russel Firesteel: Some folk come from your town, or another just like it.
Russel Firesteel: They come to us, 'cause we live out here on our own, and accuse US of a crime 'cause they can't believe someone in their little home could do something so awful.
Russel Firesteel: They say they're just looking for information, but it always comes down to one of us.
Geyer: As I said before, I'm not accusing you of anything.
Russel Firesteel scoffs.
Geyer: But it was your man who tore up the tavern. I'm not even blaming him though. I know foul magic when I see it. If ye know what's causing it, we're out to stop it from harming our village. If ye don't, we'll be on our way.
Russel Firesteel: People here've lost fathers and mothers, sons'n daughters, to towns like yours.
Arphaxad: Come Sonadora, lets wait to the side...
Russel Firesteel: If I knew what was causing the trouble here lately, I would've stopped it myself!
Russel Firesteel grumbles.
Arphaxad: whispers "Lets let Geyer talk this one out"
As you're talking, a light-haired man with a ruddy complexion steps out from the bustle in camp and steps up to Russel Firesteel in a rather formal manner.
Sonadora: Sense motive [1d20+3 = 15]
Geyer: Sense motive [1d20+4 = 16]
Arphaxad: Sense motive [1d20+1 = 5]
Geyer: Knowledge: Nobility [1d20+1 = 16]
GM: (Geyer) The way the newcomer's standing and waiting to relay something to Russel Firesteel, it looks like he has some military training - particularly from one of the cities to the north.
Sonadora: Listen [1d20+5 = 22]
Geyer: Listen [1d20 = 5]
Arphaxad: Listen [1d20+1 = 5]
The newcomer leans in towards Russel Firesteel and whispers something to him.
(Sonadora) "That strange guy's at it again, Commander. Picking over the bodies of some of the guys that fell. Some of the families are getting pissed, and it's only a matter of time before something bad happens again."
Russel Firesteel sighs with frustration.
Sonadora blinks
Russel Firesteel: I'm needed somewhere.
Sonadora glances around for a "strange guy" picking at the bodies.
Sonadora: Spot [1d20+8 = 26]
GM: Sorry, can't spot him or any commotion that he might be causing.
Russel Firesteel: Jordan - keep these three company and see if you can answer their questions...
Sonadora: I'm going to help Ranja.
Sonadora follows Russel.
Russel Firesteel walks away to the north, with Sonadora following as she slips through the crowd stealthily.
Jordan relaxes a bit once Russel leaves the area.
Arphaxad: Jordan, I am Arphaxad, and this is my friend Geyer.
Jordan nods to Arphaxad.
Arphaxad allows Geyer to do the talking as not to overwhelm the newcomer.
Jordan: Sorry about Russ - he's having a hard time of it.
Geyer: Jordan, was it?
Geyer: Ye look like you're from the Coast.
Jordan: From the Coast?
Jordan shrugs.
Jordan: Russ said you two might have some questions?
Arphaxad: Well, just noticing some recent events, it's hard not to.
Arphaxad: Do you know what this is all about?
Jordan: Not really.
Geyer: Well, could you tell us what's been happening around here? Down at the village, we've had animals turning into strange things, and people getting kidnapped by little green monsters.
Geyer: A right mess, ta be sure.
Jordan: Hmm, well...
Jordan: We have had some reports of hunters spotting little people around the camp, or while out in the forests.
Jordan: We, ah, kinda figured they were from Sundown though.
Jordan: You're sure they're green?
Geyer: Aye. Several witnesses to them, though I've not seen one myself.
Jordan: Hmm...
Arphaxad: Stories change with the telling, but the basics are the same.
Jordan agrees with Arphaxad.
Geyer: Not halfling-folk, for right sure.
Jordan: How can you be sure?
Geyer: They ain't green fer one thing.
Jordan: Could be camouflage - it's easy to make a green paste.
Arphaxad: True, it's hard to tell what they are
Arphaxad: Have you seen any for yourself?
Jordan: I haven't.
Jordan: But I have found their tracks and signs of their passing.
Geyer: Well, I'm not sure what they're up to, but I'd wager good coin they're a big part of the troubles around these parts of late.
Geyer: If we can stop these attacks, it only helps both our groups.
Arphaxad: You say that Russel has been taking these things pretty hard?
Jordan nods.
Arphaxad: Why so bothered?
Arphaxad: I'd say that goatman was more of a trouble around here, wouldn't you?
Arphaxad: Diplomacy [1d20+3 = 19]
Geyer: Diplomacy [1d20+8 = 10]
Jordan leans in close to Arphaxad, but includes Geyer by meeting eyes with him occasionally.
Jordan: Look, you seem genuinely concerned, so I'll tell you...
Jordan: After finding little booted prints inside town, Walt Firesteel - Russ's brother - had had enough.
Jordan: He had a message sent to Sundown about what the halflings were doing, and we got an answer - a messenger. Big guy.
Jordan: He came, Russ was out hunting, and said he needed to talk to Walt on account of the message.
Jordan: Said it was for Walt's ears only - we demanded guards, of course, he said it was fine.
Geyer: This "big guy" have a name?
Jordan: Well...
Jordan: Walt probably knew it, probably also the guards who'd stopped him outside camp and went to the meeting between Walt and him.
Jordan: But, y'see, they haven't been heard from since. The guards were found dead, and Walt's gone missing entirely.
Arphaxad: What happened then?
Jordan: No sounds, no noise.
Arphaxad listens intently
Jordan: One second they were there, the next they were gone.
Arphaxad: Gone? Do you mean magically, or that they left in a hurry?
Jordan: Heck if I know. All the guards are dead, noone else was inside the hut, and noone saw him or Walt leave.
Geyer: Hmmm. Doesn't make sense.
Jordan: He might have snuck out. Maybe. But he was a big guy, and Walt's no midget himself.
Arphaxad: I see...
Jordan: That's why Russ is so pissed at you guys, and why he probably didn't want to talk to you.
Arphaxad: A strange tale indeed.
Geyer: Who did Walt send the original message to in Sundown?
Jordan: The leader, some priest or another.
Arphaxad: Well, where did Russel go in such a hurry?
Arphaxad: Is all well now?
Jordan: Russel? Just something he needed to take care of. He left me to answer questions.
Geyer: Well, I swear I will ask Mayor Garrett about this message and see what I can discover.
Geyer: I know of no one in town who matches the description of the big man you gave.
Geyer: Especially not any with the skill of arms or spell to kill several guards and vanish with another full grown man.
Arphaxad: What can you tell us about the Goat man and his claims that someone here took his son?
Jordan: Honestly? We figure the halflings did it.
Jordan: The goat man said the scent of the kidnappers was all around our camp - it fits.
font color="#da740c">Geyer: The green ones kidnapped a boy from our village.
Geyer: Perhaps another force is at work here.
Geyer: Someone trying to pit our groups against each other by framing the halflings.
Arphaxad wonders what Sonadora is doing and hopes she tries nothing stupid.
Jordan: Heh, or it could just be the halflings - did you consider that?
Arphaxad: A possibility...
Arphaxad: But why would they kidnap a goatman's child, and then come to your village?
Jordan: Actually... that's a good point.
Geyer: Halflings aren't known for being skilled at magic either, and something unnatural is clearly going on.
Jordan: We sorta figured it was more that the halflings happened to kidnap the goat man, and were planning some sorta attack on us.
Arphaxad: Well, we need to get to the bottom of this, is there anything else you can tell us that may be of any help?
Jordan: The only things here in the area that we've run into since we built this camp were halflings. Could be human children, but that didn't make much sense given the locations and apparent actions of the footprints.
Geyer: And even if it was halflings, it's not the ones from our town - we've been attacked too. A rival band of halflings that want to recalim this territory could be possible.
Jordan: If there were goblins in the area, well, it could be them. But we've never seen one here.
Arphaxad: Are there any halfling camps around here?
Jordan shakes his head.
Jordan: Just Sundown.
Arphaxad: We will investigate them further....but is there anything else we can use?
Arphaxad: Do ya think perhaps I should check for any unusual magic around here?
Jordan shrugs.
Jordan: If you want.
Arphaxad: Well, folks disappearing into thin air is a little odd.
Arphaxad attempts to detect any magic around the camp -
GM: (Detect Magic) There aren't any magics active in the area.
Arphaxad: Well, any magic that was here seems to be gone now.
Jordan: I don't know anything about magic, so I'll take your word for it.
Arphaxad: What do you think we should do from here?
Geyer: I think we should go back to town and see if Garrett knows of this message.
Arphaxad: Sounds like a good plan, these goings on are indeed strange, and that riddle still needs answering.
Geyer: It seems unlike him to send someone to attack.
Geyer: I still think a third party is trying to play us against each other.
Jordan: Not too much they'd need to do there.
Jordan: Halflings can come here to trade, but they aren't allowed to stay.
Jordan: And Sundown being a halfling community...
Jordan: Well.
Geyer: Aye. Halfing and human.
Geyer: But I see yer point.
Arphaxad: As you see, we are not halflings, but things are going in a direction that seems beneficial to neither group.
Geyer: That beast-man who attacked our tavern may not have even been one of yours.
Jordan: Have you guys tried following the tracks back anywhere?
Jordan: How did you trace him back here anyways?
Geyer: Someone may have planted your group's cloak and mark on him.
Geyer: Wouldn't take much at all. Hire a wizard and a couple goblins, set up a camp somewhere secluded like an abandoned mine or supposedly haunted house.
Geyer: Play on our fears of each other until we fight and take the valley for yourself.
Jordan: Mark? What mark?
Geyer: Some trinket we found on the man who attacked.
Jordan: Do you have it?
Geyer: We were told it was a mark of your group.
Meanwhile...
Sonadora: Move silently [1d20+5 = 17]
Sonadora: Hide [1d20+7 = 18]
Russel Firesteel: Spot [1d20+XX = XX]
Russel Firesteel: Listen [1d20+XX = XX]
(Sonadora) You arrive at a hut that looks much like the others. Inside, a group of several people - maybe about 15 - is talking angrily, and slowly building itself up into a fury. The reason: a man in a long, black cloak appears to be poring over the bodies of several dead from the attack. He doesn't seem to mind that the people around him are clearly angry at his actions, but instead continues to examine the cadavers. Russel arrives and attempts to diffuse the situation, calming the families and shouting at the stranger. Before anything can be done though, the stranger calmly reached into a sheath, pulled out a small knife, cut the finger off of one of the cadavers and pocketed it.
The families, of course, didn't take this well, and jumped in to attack or kill the man, who was only saved by Russel grabbing him and dragging him away. You follow them to a hut, but Russel closes and locks the door behind him to keep out the angry families, leaving you unable to follow.
Sonadora listens against the wall.
Sonadora: Listen [1d20+5 = 11]
GM: Sorry Sonadora - you can't make out the words to the conversation.
Sonadora sighs and decides to forget about being discreet and knocks on the door.
Sonadora adds her knock to the knocks of several disgruntled family members who are also knocking loudly and angrily on the door.
Sonadora looks for another entrance to the building.
Sonadora: Search [1d20+1 = 21]
GM: (Sonadora) After your careful search, you realize that this place must be a jail it's constructed so tightly. The only thing you manage to find is a small crack along one of the sides that may allow you to hear what is happening inside.
Sonadora: Listen [1d20+5 = 10]
GM: (Sonadora) You can make out Russell yelling, but don't hear anything from the man in the cloak. You still can't quite make any specific words out.
Sonadora decides to go find out why that man took the dead person's finger.
GM: (Sonadora) You make your way back to the bodies, but find several people clustered around - you can't really go in and examine them without being seen.
Sonadora goes in discreetly with an air of innocent child.
Sonadora: Disguise [1d20+2 = 15]
GM: (Sonadora) You manage to get close enough that you can see the cause of death - all of them appear to have died of injuries, probably during the goat-man's attack. The families won't let a stranger, even if they think you're a child, start poking at the bodies. You don't see anything particularly special about the now fingerless man.
Sonadora grumbles and goes back to the others before Jordan leaves.
Geyer: Lady 'Dora, the sign you showed Daisy. Still carrying that?
Arphaxad: I actually have it here, the lady gave it to me after she had it looked at.
Arphaxad: Do you recognize it?
Jordan: I'm afraid I do.
Jordan: It's our mark, in a way.
Arphaxad continues listening.
Sonadora pets Vida absently.
Jordan: We were named after... ah... well, we were named after an old military squad that had some famous successes in the past.
Jordan: Russel and Walt were the leaders.
Geyer: Knowledge: History [1d20+2 = 3]
Jordan: And that's Walt's talisman.
Sonadora: (Innocently) Is he the guy who was taking body parts from the dead?
Geyer: If this is Walt's than I have some unfortunate news for your leader...
Jordan narrows his eyes at Sonadora's comment and mutters something under his breath.
Sonadora smiles at Jordan.
Sonadora: It's only fair to be honest with each other. It's the only way to keep everyone safe.
Jordan ignores Sonadora as he furrows his brows in thought.
Geyer: The man who bore this transformed into a monster, attacked the tavern in our village, and I killed him to protect my citizens.
Geyer: If that man was Walt, he is gone. If it was not Walt, this man was clearly a pawn of whoever has Walt to take the mark from him.
Arphaxad sighs.
Jordan: We'll send someone to examine the body...
Jordan: I'll need to show Russel the talisman for him to agree to sending someone into potential danger, though.
Geyer: Aye, of course.
Arphaxad: These are strange times indeed.
Jordan: He'll want to hold onto it, also... in case Walt really is... dead.
Jordan: I'm afraid Russ won't thank you for delivering bad news.
Geyer: If he does send someone, we'll leave one of our number here while we go.
Geyer: I don't want any more unfortunate events to be blamed on each other incorrectly.
Jordan nods.
Sonadora: I'll stay! This place is interesting!
Jordan: No.
Jordan: That wouldn't be a good idea.
Sonadora pouts.
Geyer: I'll need you in the woods, lass.
Geyer: Ranja can stay.
Sonadora: If you hurt Ranja I'll kill you.
Sonadora glares at Jordan.
Arphaxad: Do you think we should speak with Russel about this?
Geyer: Unless you want to volunteer, wizard?
Arphaxad: He may have some questions.
Jordan: Russel's busy right now, as I'm sure your halfling knows.
Sonadora: He's in the room with one door!
Sonadora: The strange man cut off someone's finger!
Jordan raises an eyebrow.
Jordan: Hmm, so it got to that, huh.
Arphaxad smacks Sonadora on the back of the head lightly!
Jordan shrugs.
Jordan: I don't really care anymore.
Sonadora rubs her head.
Jordan: Walt was a good friend, and a great Captain.
Geyer: Aye. Losing someone ye've fought beside is the worst.
Geyer: I'm sorry ta bring ye news of it.
Jordan: I'll have to go tell Russ now, if I could please have Walt's talisman?
Sonadora: I'll show you where he is.
Sonadora darts off before the guy can protest.
Jordan watches Sonadora dart off and sighs.
Geyer looks after 'Dora.
Geyer: Guess we're all going. Before she gets herself killed.
Jordan: I sort of see why we've decided not to let any of them live here...
Jordan shakes his head.
Arphaxad walks off silently.
Jordan: You mentioned that manor near here, by the way.
Jordan: We thought the same thing you did.
Jordan: Easy place for a group of halflings to hide.
Geyer: Or goblins.
Jordan: Or goblins... I suppose.
Jordan: But it was empty.
Jordan: And definitely not haunted. Just old.
Jordan: Maybe the goblins migrated out of the mountains for the winter?
Jordan gives a wry grin.
Geyer: We had some half-civilized ones up on the Coast.
Geyer: They'd do sneak work for coin.
Geyer: Could be something similar happening here.
Geyer: Ye never know.
Jordan shrugs.
Sonadora waits at the door impatiently, but off to the side where she won't get noticed.
Jordan: I have to go. Please see yourselves out - I'm afraid you can't stay here, since you travel with a halfling.
Jordan takes the talisman with him, and prepares to head off.
Geyer: Well are ye sending someone with us to examine the body in Sundown?
Jordan nods to Geyer.
Jordan: We'll send someone down later, and cautiously.
Jordan: You understand.
Geyer: Fair enough then, but we won't leave one of ours here while we wait.
Geyer: Have your man seek me out directly.
Geyer: I am not sure anymore if others can be trusted.
Jordan: Fair enough.
Geyer: But I promise you, no harm will come to your fellow in the village if I can prevent it.
Jordan nods to Geyer.
Jordan: Well, fare well, and good luck.
Geyer: Aye. Farewell, sir.
Sonadora takes the opportunity to listen at the crack in the wall again.
Sonadora: Listen [1d20+5 = 25]
GM: (Sonadora) You catch the tail end of the conversation - "...stay because you were a half-elf, and maybe noone would notice if they didn't look too carefully. But you're done, you creepy bastard. Tomorrow morning, you leave."
Jordan unlocks the door and steps inside with one last wave.
Jordan closes the door behind him, and you hear it lock once more.
Sonadora keeps listening!
Geyer: Let's get out of here.
Sonadora: Wait!
Arphaxad: I agree, before a certain halfling makes us more unwelcome.
Geyer: Before we start the damn war someone's trying ta trigger.
END SESSION
